Free Friday Night Freak Show

Date: Friday, October 27, 2017
Time: 8:00 – 11:00 PM
Location: Appalachian Power Park

Nearly four decades ago, the ultimate midnight movie was released in theaters and to celebrate, Electric 102.7 and HallowEast will showcaseThe Rocky Horror Picture Show on the big screen at Appalachian Power Park!  Doors will open at 8PM and the movie will start between 9:00 & 9:30PM.  No need to pack a chair – we’ll be sitting in style in the stands!  No outside food or drink, concessions are available onsite.

HallowEast would not be complete without a free showing of the ultimate cult classic. Richard O’Brien’s stage musical comes to fabulous life with the film debut of Tim Curry, reprising his stage role as the mad Dr. Frank-N-Furter. When a newly engaged young couple (Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick) gets stranded at Dr. Frank’s castle, he sets out to convert them into fellow Transylvanians. A cameo by rocker Meat Loaf is definitely one of the many highlights. The film still holds the record for the longest theatrical run, never having been out of some form of limited release since its premiere in 1975.

This free event is a great time for all, however the film is rated R, those under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  Gates open at 8:30, film at 9:30PM.  Please bring your own seating, chairs and blankets are recommended. Food and drink will be available for purchase via concession stand and beer will be available for purchase to those of legal age with valid ID.
