Road Closure Information for HallowEast Events

ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION: Beginning today (October 31, 2015) at 4:00 pm, Washington Street between Sidney and Maxwell streets will be closed as well as Elizabeth Street from Lee to Jackson streets during the HallowEast Costume Crawl until midnight. Traffic will be detoured via Piedmont Road to the north or via Quarrier and Virginia streets to the south.

The Zombie Walk that starts at 6:30 p.m. at Moxxee​ Coffee on Lee Street, will affect traffic on Lee, Bradford, Quarrier and Elizabeth streets toward the costume crawl location.

Traffic will be affected on the route of the Scared Sprintless HallowEast Zombie 5K Run/Walk​ starting at 7 p.m. from Washington and Elizabeth streets. The course heads south on Elizabeth, west on Quarrier, north on Capitol, east on Smith Street, north on Morris, east on Piedmont and south on Elizabeth.

Traffic will be stopped on streets along the route so drivers should expect delays if they are traveling in that area between 7 and 8:30 p.m.

Main Street Murder Mystery: CLUE – ON RAIN OR SHINE!

Sinthia Washington’s big Seven Deadly Sins Concert will go on tomorrow, October 28th at 6pm at Applachian Power Park! This may be your last chance to see her… alive.

Take a look at this cast of suspects and join Deputy Mayor Rod Blackstone, A.K.A. The Toastman and his new Co-Toast, Amanda Barren from WSAZ, as they ask you find the clues and solve the mystery! The show much go on rain or shine, and we have a backup plan to make sure a little rain won’t dampen the evening. 

Just $15 to try your hand at solving the crime of the century. Bring a friend or buy a second CLUE card @ 2 for $25. You will also get to enjoy food from your favorite East End eateries and a cash bar will be on hand!
