ArtMares to Feature Nearly 40 Local Talented Artists
Back for its fourth year, ArtMares is scheduled to be held at Contemporary Galleries (1210 Smith Street) and features nearly 40 talented local artists. Mark your calendars for the special reception on Friday, October 26 starting at 6 PM, where we will celebrate the works of these fine artists and their horror-themed creations. Come out for free beer, wine, and light hors d’oeuvres while listening to great live local music throughout the evening. EEMS will receive 50% of all proceeds of art sales and share the other 50% with the artists themeselves.
Just another one of the great events offered during the only 4-day Halloween celebration in the state! HallowEast is less that three weeks away!

HallowEast IV is Upon Us!
Five years ago, the East End Main Street board of directors thought it would be a good idea to follow the lead of East End residents and embrace Halloween in all its gory. So we got to work planning an event that would offer something fun for everyone in the neighborhood and raise a little money for our work revitalizing the business district. HallowEast, now in its fourth year, has become bigger, scarier and deader than we had ever imagined. With an art show, a murder mystery, a zombie walk and a pub crawl, this Halloween celebration will be the best yet. Help us make history and support our mission to improve and revitalize the East End by joining the fun and fright.
